Wausau - Third Street Shops
The Third Street Shops in downtown Wausau consist of four historic buildings dating back to the late 1800s. The restoration of these buildings has reinvigorated the east side of the Third Street and complemented the surrounding historic downtown properties.
303 N. 3rd Street is Compass Properties most recent acquisition and is the southern-most building of the Third Street Shops. It is approximately 2,200 square feet on the first floor, and is home to a woman's apparel/lingerie shop.
The two-story Lamplighter Building, at 305 N. Third Street, features 2,000 square feet of retail space on the first floor, and houses a gift and collectibles store.
The middle property is the St. Clair's Building, an award-winning building recognized for its accurate restoration and its beautiful aesthetics. Located at 307-309 N. Third Street, it consists of 3,700 square feet of retail space occupied by a men's clothier. The upper-level is a residential component that contains two apartments with 16-foot ceilings and expansive living spaces.
The northernmost building at 311-315 N. Third Street has 4,200 square feet of retail space on the ground level, with future residential space planned for the second floor.
